5 Great WordPress SEO plugins
I’m a fan of WordPress and its plugin functionality. You can make WordPress do almost anything you want if you know which plugin to use. So when you’re SEOing it’s good to know these plugins. Wedding photographers tend to blog and using these plugins on your WordPress blog will make good SEO much more achievable.
All in One SEO
This is the necessary plugin. Sure, you can run SEO Ultimate or Yoast or whatever else but AIOSEO adds titles, description, keywords if you want them (you don’t), unique titles on each page, canonizes your blog link, no-follows your tags, categories, archives, etc. and helps reduce duplicate content. You want AIOSEO.
SEO Rank Reporter
Based on keywords you choose, the SEO Rank Reporter plugin tracks your Google rankings every 3 days and reports the data in an easy-to-read graph.
Broken Link Checker
I already wrote a full post about why you should get rid of broken links for Google. Broken links tell Google “your site isn’t update very often or you’d clean up after yourself.” Google uses broken links as a strong hint on how you maintain your site. Maintenance is good for the user experience. Neglect is not. Google punishes neglect.
Google Sitemaps
By now you should be using Google Webmasters Tools and you should have submitted a sitemap. If you have not, create one using this plugin and submit it. Webmasters Tools is a MUST to track how your site is doing.
Remind Me
Not a common plugin but a very cool one. RemindMe puts a box just below the main WordPress posting box with a quick link for some of your older, related posts. It helps you interlink your own content which is a VERY good thing to do. (It’s how I created the link on “get rid of broken links” and “canonizes your blog link” above. After you publish or update your post, the options change so if you’re looking for a post that isn’t there, you can easily do that.
(Don’t forget to measure how each plugin affects site speed and seo.)

Why don’t I want home keywords on AIOSEO? It seems like they would be helpful, but you’re the expert!
